It just about summed up Mauresmo's day - a French former champion speaking in her second language (and trying really hard not to show her rising frustration), arguing with an Italian journalist who was also speaking in his second language – and arguing about semantics. Nothing was going right for Mauresmo. Oh, well, there is always next year to look forward to.
